Spacelab Maker Camp

by jay

Summer is almost upon us, and with it, the opportunity to enroll kids in extracurricular activities that help expand their horizons.

Spacelab is planning on running three one or two-week camps this coming summer. Students in the camps will learn to build, modify, and design models for 3D printers that they’ll be able to take home. This camp is also a test of a new online platform we’ve developed to host distributed synchronous + asynchronous courses on making, tinkering, and fabrication.

Other possible upcoming workshops that will be hosted on the platform include near space ballooning, drone building, the development of simple circuits, and more. If you’re interested in learning more about the workshops, or want to provide input on them as they develop, please fill out this form.
