Build your own classroom maker kits (T-monthly series) September 21: 7:00-8:00 pm Participants will create an electromagnet kit, with materials and directions for students to make electromagnets inside your classroom! Please bring a shoebox/container to store your kit. $20

Handmade Card-Making (C, YA, A) October 10: 6 - 7:30 pm Those interested in sending hand-made sentiments will create 4 cards to celebrate Birthdays and Halloween. $6

Sign Me Up! (A) October 13: 7-8:30 Make a personalized wooden sign board by distressing, staining, stenciling and transferring a pattern. Please wear painting clothes or an apron. $40

Introduction to the Vinyl Cutter (YA, A) October 19: 7-8 pm Learn to use the vinyl cutter and make a vinyl decal from a selection of images. $8

Learn to Make: Simple Circuits (YA, A, T) October 21: 10 am- 12 pm This is the 1st of a series of Space Lab courses where you learn to design and fabricate your own digital/physical artifacts. Learn to design and develop simple circuits with inputs and outputs such as LEDs, buttons, as well as electronic components like resistors and capacitors. After this course, you will understand the fundamentals of electronics and fabricate your own circuits on a breadboard. $20

Build Your Own 3D printer (T) Dates TBD- beginning in October. Register by September 30. Classes start in October based on registrants’ availability. Would you like to build your own 3D printer? This 5 week series introduces you to the parts and functions of 3D printers and enables you to build your own! $500

Classes are coded as follows and marked for intended audiences. C- Child (ages 5-10) *Must be accompanied by an adult. YA- Young Adult (10-17)*Must be accompanied by an adult. A- Adult (18 +) T- Teachers (Includes administrators, troop/den leaders, librarians.)
